EDUCATION

  • Brigham Young University, Mathematics, B.S., 1993

  • Stanford University, Operations Research, M.S., 1994

  • Georgia Institute of Technology, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Ph.D., 1999

AREAS OF RESEARCH

I perform research in combinatorial optimization with an emphasis in mixed  integer programming and graph theory.  My research in mixed integer programming typically seeks cutting planes that decrease the time required
to solve integer programs.  My research in graph theory seeks optimal and/or heuristical techniques that provide solutions to complex problems.
